Cutting Mario Edwards saves the Saints $2.4 million. Granderson must be looking good enough to cut Edwards and it also saves money to bring in a certain DE if he's still available Monday.

If steven's clears waivers he'll be on the practice squad. Fowler ... maybe since we can have six vets on the practice squad under the COVID rules.

Agreed on Bennie. Hebert said he was surprised too based on how well he looked and performed on special teams. As for Stevens, he is nothing more than a long term project to me.

Fowler has always been terrible. He comes here and we root for him naturally.

DE Mario Edwards Jr. signed with the Bears.

Hurst might be the most valuable unavailable player that we've got who has something to offer. When he comes back after his four week suspension and if we've lost a player on the O-line he'll be good to have coming back. He's supposed to be better than average from what I've read. I know that he's been a starter for a couple of different clubs. He'll be familiar with the play book and can hopefully he can study it while he's on suspension. If so, then well have another plug and play player for the O-line.
