SAINTS - RAIDERS

A lot of excitement going into this brand new stadium, and the Raiders new version of the Black Hole. The Saints should have a good game at this new stadium, and leave Vegas as a winner !!!

Same hear. My wife usually has conference in Vegas during the Fall. Next to cruising it is my favorite place to visit ... well, behind New Orleans.

Re: SAINTS - RAIDERS

Considering the Raiders have never played a game there themselves I wouldn't imagine their homefield would have much of an advantage, especially with nobody in the stands. There are going to be a ton of distractions for the Raiders with it being their first game there. Local and national media will be hyping it up bigtime.

Curious what effects the Wuhan Pandemic and H. Sally will have on Cruisin' The Coast® 2020...

Re: SAINTS - RAIDERS

Our O line vs their D line (2 Glove Teddy threw for 280 yards/1 sack).

Kamara vs their LBs (FA Corey Littleton is a guy I wanted this off season).

If Mike T isn't ready, who steps up at WR? Sanders already has a TD and Harris made an impact on special teams. Possibly Trequan perhaps? Ty Montgomery?

Maybe we see Trautman in this one. J Cook played well last week so I would expect him to continue vs his former team.

Bigger question for me is do we see Davenport game 2? Trey Hendrickson had on his hard hat, brought his A game and was a complete bully. I hope that continues.

It’s a lot like New Orleans in some ways. A tourist city with plenty to do, gambling, debauchery, and haunted history

My understanding is that Cruisin’ The Coast is a go. I normally go every year but can’t do it this year, scheduling conflict.

Not too concerned with COVID. Don't think Sally will slow down the reopening of cruising, either. Looking at November as reopening. We'll be there, for sure.

We were trending into three a year coming into this deal. We had a two week cruise out of San Francisco to Alaska canceled in May. We are in cruise withdrawal mode right now.

Oh no, I wasn’t talking about actual cruise ships, lol, my bad. I was talking about an annual event on the Ms Gulf Coast named “Cruisin’ The Coast”. It deals with antique cars and motorcycles, has a parts swap in the coliseum, lots of rides and get together, etc... Nothing to do with actually “cruising”.

Thought you were talking about the Mega-Classic Car Rally on the MS Gulf Coast...

Yeah, I don't do Cruise ships. Ever. Hard Pass.

I hate Cruising the Coast so much. I’d always forget it was going on and drive my ass right into that Biloxi traffic. Lmao!

Hwy90 in Biloxi does get messy, doubly so when the sun goes down and the partiers line the roads. It’s a “hot-rodder” event though, but my Heritage Springer feels right at home, even though it’s not officially “antique” or “classic” just yet. Nice to get back home with family once a year, bonus is to be there on two wheels!

He might be the joker this week.

Re: SAINTS - RAIDERS

If I'm not mistaken WR Bennie Fowler and DE Margus Hunt have one more game they can be flexed from the practice squad, with Davenport still out and the ankle sprain to Thomas, it should be interesting roster mgt...

Only thing that is missing is Beignet's, Poboys, VooDoo and maybe an occasional Rougarou sighting.
Funny thing is since Rob Ryan left the Crescent City there have been no
new reported sightings.

Us too. We had two booked both got canceled. We rescheduled twice already both of which got canceled.
LV is nothing like New Orleans. Very plastic and transient and the locals have very little passion for the city. The new stadium there will have the crappiest home field advantage In the country. It will be great for visiting teams and their fans but the Raiders are going to get very little support other than their original Oakland fan base. The locals couldn’t care less.
It is a pretty fun place to visit though.

Brand New Stadiums... I heard this morning that there were a couple inures in the 49er/Jets game contributed to the the new turf being 'sticky'..

I do not know if LV stadium has the same turf but i do how we get a good survey of field conditions ahead of the game to prepare.

MetLife Stadium has FieldTurf.

Allegiant Stadium has both artificial and natural turf. They will roll the natural grass turf in on gamedays for the Raiders. UNLV is supposedly using the artificial turf, instead.
