this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; When Brees almost threw that pick and he started talking to Sanders I could see it in his face. He doesn’t believe in Brees. He had that look like bruh...if you could throw we’d be fine....

When Brees almost threw that pick and he started talking to Sanders I could see it in his face. He doesn’t believe in Brees. He had that look like bruh...if you could throw we’d be fine.

What other route could he have supposedly run? It was a 3 step drop and Brees threw it straight to him without even flinching. Pretty obvious timing pattern. It’s not like he threw the ball out there and there was no receiver.

To cut inside and not outside! Cut inside and the defender is behind him, cutting outside allowed the defender to get between him and the ball.

Which proves Jason Whitlock's theory. Brees has been the general of the Saints since 2006. Most players would run through a wall for him. Now you have a handful of players calling him ignorant and not even giving him the courtesy of eye contact when he talks to them.

I wish he had retired prior to this season. I'd guess that he does too.
