The ratings are down and will be all season as I stated before the season started. For those that actually served in the military and law enforcement the NFL took a shlt on us. Guido will never get it because he thinks he actually served because his daddy did and he talks to him from beyond the grave. You never served Guido and don't know and never will.

Yep. I haven't watched a game yet. I'm still a Saints fan. But I decided not to watch after they put a rapist POS name on their helmet like he was some kind of saint and when Drew backed down from his comments. The anthem stuff and BLM BS was the icing on the cake.

They won't make a dime from me. I know it doesn't matter to the NFL if I watch or buy anything. But it matters to me.

I served (31 years ago), and it was in combat. When I enlisted, I did so without anyone... family or friends being consulted or even knowing. I did not enlist as an investment in any sort of future adoration or prestige. I did it for my personal gains and for my country which represents one of the last bastions of liberty regardless of how brilliant or moronic the words or actions of a person are.

I don't feel like anyone took a sh1t on me because I do not hold any of their opinions or actions as personally relevant or in high regard. I have never nor will I ever be a victim to societal, governmental, or corporate bullsh1t.

If any veterans are getting azzhurt over the actions of propaganda riddled corporate America it might be time to reflect on why you joined as well as what you have done since signing that paper that makes you feel entitled to a status higher than American. Did you sign that paper to be owed something?

As soldiers, veterans, the opinions or musings of civilians should never change our core functions, views, or beliefs.

I am expecting any veteran to be tempered enough to be able to handle this discussion pragmatically.

Vet also - I don't take it personally that we have people expressing an opinion different than mine. I do take offense that all too often their opinion is that everyone who doesn't adhere to whatever the SJW orthodoxy of the day is must shut up.
I also find it pathetic that they are not grateful for their circumstances. Despite the fact that extreme leftists believe they are living under the oppression of Western civilization, when looking at all of human history, one would be hard pressed to pick a better time and place to have been born.
