Calloway
It looks like Calloway has passed Smith on the depth chart and he's producing. He had some nice returns and good catches with the ball thrown behind him. He has the tools to get the job done. He definitely looks like he belongs out there making plays.

Re: Calloway
Marquez has shown good field awareness on blocking but now he's added more value as a receiver. He was good on the 7-9 routes at Tennessee.
He's not as twitchy as Deonte on fielding punts, but I think Sean P has a lot of trust in him already fielding kickoffs/punts. Marquez will continue to get better each week. |
Re: Calloway
Seems to have good ball control and great speed, certainly is a bright spot in these gloomy days.

Re: Calloway
I like that Calloway see the field on returns and goes North straight away no hesitation

Re: Calloway
The type of player that makes very good teams great.

Re: Calloway
He looked comfortable from the outset and Brees seemed to trust him.
Not to mention having 2 capable returners |

Re: Calloway
Not necessarily a knock on Calloway ... in that situation not planning on anything but ball in hand and control it ... I think we will see a lot more of Calloway after seeing this small sample of his play. He did not disappoint.
