Re: Fox 8 - New Orleans | New Orleans Saints in talks to move home games to Tiger Stadium
Ridiculous idea. The NFL is already scrambling to keep the season going. Moving a game to a college environment, away from a more controlled professional base, brings too many negative variables into play that would be so much harder if not impossible to control. This type of selfish, greedy, short-sided way of thinking is why our nation is still the epicenter of a pandemic, that eight months in, is only getting worse.

Speaking of Stadiums since Mercedes Benz left us for the land of Dirty Birds, does anyone know who will be our new sponsor will be.
I heard from a totally unreliable source that Yugo will be up in lights on the Dome. In case your wondering it's called Yugo because yugo and you dont come back |

Minnesota played their season on a college field quite recently, so I guess it could work from that point of view exluding the corona hurdles.

If they do play in Baton Rouge, I sure hope they come up with a better traffic control plan then what they had in 2005. Took us 2 hours just to cross the MS river bridge after the games were over due to piss poor traffic control and the friggin bridge is what 5 miles away.

If you want to have fans, even if the Superdome allowed fans, a massive open air stadium would always be safer. So it should not be a matter of vendettas and teaching the mayor a lesson, it should be a matter of science, and science says open air and wind and more space for distancing dilute pathogens. At the Superdome the concession areas and the back rows of each section have low ceilings and might as well be a crowded bar or house party.
