LeVeon Bell - yah or nay
This is probably not a good or feasible idea, but well, it is 2020.
Should there be any thought of shifting Kamara to a lot of work at slot receiver and adding Bell to the picture? Is Bell still good enough to be a force on a team that isn't the Jets? |
Re: LeVeon Bell - yah or nay
I don’t see why not. We won it all with a three back rotation.

Re: LeVeon Bell - yah or nay
How exactly would the Saints fund such a venture?

I'm not interested in the drama that ensues if he doesn't touch the ball.
There are bigger issues that need to be addressed somehow. |
Re: LeVeon Bell - yah or nay
I will say yes, and would switch Kamara to full time WR in a heartbeat.

Re: LeVeon Bell - yah or nay
If we could make the money work and we evaluate Bell would be okay in the locker room, the more I think about it, it might make sense ...
- It's our bye week, perfect timing to make the acquisition - A 1-1-3 personnel set of MT, Sanders, Cook, Kamara, Bell and Brees would be formidable. And we'd still have Hill, Murray, Calloway, Trequan, Harris and Trautman to sprinkle in :). - We seem to do well taking on former New York players - Vilma, Shockey, D Davis. |
Re: LeVeon Bell - yah or nay
No way. The Saints have enough drama to contend with.
Bell is a supremely talented football player and the Saints have his younger version currently playing for them. |
Re: LeVeon Bell - yah or nay
I'd rather see Murray get more touches - it's a crowded backfield, but of course that could change with injuries.
|
Re: LeVeon Bell - yah or nay
If Murray ain't getting the love, no way in hell Bell would go for that....i'm sure he would look at the number's (rushing attempts) for Murray and just laugh. In fact he'd probably laugh so hard he'd crap himself. Could you imagine what he'd say the first time he was on the sidelines and watched Drew come of the field with Hill lined up in the shotgun on 3rd and 3 from the 3 with .10 sec left and the game on the line? I'd pay to see his reaction.

The CBs...omg.

Re: LeVeon Bell - yah or nay
Don't we have enough drama with MT right now? Plus we have enough guys back there.
|
Re: LeVeon Bell - yah or nay
Nope. Just feed Kamara and Murray. Save the cash. Save the drama. Bears, Bills, Rams, Cardinals, even the Chiefs, would all do well to sign him.
|
Re: LeVeon Bell - yah or nay
Apparently our locker room chemistry isn't as strong as in days gone by. We don't need another distraction seeing as how we have too many already. Let him go somewhere else and complain. I don't want him. So, the answer is NAY!!!

RB Le'Veon Bell signing with Kansas City Chiefs

Re: LeVeon Bell - yah or nay
Stop. That’s absurd. Seriously... the talking heads seem to be jizzing all over the walls about Bell but it’s freaking laughable. |
Re: LeVeon Bell - yah or nay
Well it's over. He's a Chief. At least he didn't go to the Patriots; that might have been the most dangerous outcome, for opposing defenses.
|
Re: LeVeon Bell - yah or nay
Why would we have signed someone who runs the ball?
It's not like Sean would've started having balance in the play-calling... If we signed anyone, how about a veteran boundary CB (not avail) or free safety who'd ignore Dennis Allen, call secondary coverages that'd work... Mr. Marcus was neutered with the signing of hasbeen Malcolm Jenkins and likely is gone after the season concludes... |

I look at a player like Jalen Ramsey. He’s got that kind of personality many on this forum dislike. A “problem child” if you will, but that Rams team looks really good with Ramsey locking **** down on the outside. What I’m saying is, if you can’t manage big personalities you don’t need to be in control of a team. Talent wins ships...but when talent becomes available all I ever see is a million reasons why we shouldn’t go get it. Shoutout to the Honey Badger. |
Re: LeVeon Bell - yah or nay
The Chiefs were already the odds on favorite to go back to the Superbowl. Leveon Bell does not move that needle. I'm sure he can still be productive and should certainly help them but let's not get carried away here. He hasn't been effective in quite some time.

Re: LeVeon Bell - yah or nay
Good for Bell. Jets are a joke.
KC has great coaching, great players and a Head coach who still believes in his ability. He'll compliment Clyde well. Bell is still an effective pass catcher and is a "fit" in that system. You can NEVER had enough weapons on offense. Chiefs come to the dome this year. |

Didn't we all think Ty Montgomery would be a great fit for this team? Where has he been? Without checking, I'd say he's played about 10 snaps.
