Wtf is with the delay of game penalties? Jesus. It's not like there's a loud crowd.

WTF is Sean doing?!? Run the damn ball, if you miss, you give them too much time...

Even Aikman's dumb arse can figure it out...

Thank you, Lutz; bad game management, again, by Sean Payton...

Beastmode 11-01-2020 07:00 PM

Re: Saints @ Bears Game Day Thread

That was high risk high reward.. Should have run it down some. Not understanding that one but whatever...got the W. Moving on.

Lol! I can't believe we're 5-2 with this defense.

Or you fumble. It was the right call to kick it.

You’re right Rez, I run three times to kill the clock. But, a win is a win is a win, and my guess is Coach wanted the team out of the Windy City right then!

Oof, our 3rd down conversion, or lack of it, was 2-13. Rough stat right there.

ChrisXVI 11-01-2020 07:05 PM

Re: Saints @ Bears Game Day Thread

I expected it to be a very rough, ugly game and it was... but it’s a W.

-WAS going to comment about how great teams find a way..........
-WAS going to complain about the refs making two game deciding bad decisions.
-WAS going to second guess the greatest Saints coach ever about his end of game decision.
-Didn't ration my IPA's for OT.
-LOL.
-Saints win!

Plus, we SHOULD have MT, Sanders and Callaway back next week.

That close, you finish or you don't deserve to win it - Besides they had a delay of game, should've kept running the ball with their best player on offense...

Okay, out of respect and for the sake of argument, if you don't run it, kneel for two downs and leave no time on the clock for Foles in the event of a snap mishap that you've already had in the game...

Brees doesn't get the AirYd/Att back over ten yards, then there's absolutely no excuses - we're currently last in the league...

Missing 3 of our 4 best WR's ... against the wind in overtime ... Gun empty for life!!!

Sean needs to get this contrarian thing out of his system. There has to be a good hypnotist in NOLA.

Re: Saints @ Bears Game Day Thread

We won....yes...but I'd be lying if I said this team feels like a playoff team damn sure not a SB team. Playoffs come around if we're still in it, our offense is going to look a step slow and boxes in due to our limitations we havent addressed

With a 1:40? Plenty enough time to get in FG range with a short field. It was shaking hands with danger but we won. I just think a couple of dive runs to cook the clock would have been ideal. Worse case ends in a tie.

Never thought I would want PJ playing nickel again. But Chauncey is a walking cookbook past two weeks at least he's been getting beat

He’ll probably miss a month. Personally, I want to see more Malcolm Roach so I think it’ll be ok.

Re: Saints @ Bears Game Day Thread

Our defensive Personnel rotation really are confusing. You have a nickel CB on the bench and A SS playing nickel and a rotational guy starting at SS

Re: Saints @ Bears Game Day Thread

Malcolm Roach should have been getting more playing time

Paytons play calling is extremely suspect, they had multiple chances to put this game away.

The commentators were almost climaxing at the sound of Roquan Smiths name, and it's literally because Payton was telegraphing what play we were running.

We put 26 up on of the best defenses without our top 3 WR’s and people are blaming our offense? Meanwhile one of the NFL’s worst offenses put up 23 on us....

We had literally one WR. I don’t know what Payton was supposed to do.

Thank yo ChrisXVI ... Let run the ball more ... the had 9 and effectively 10 people in the box ... how the heck to run with any effect against that kind of defense ... play action maybe to keep them a little honest just saying

I’ll never understand why the Saints can’t get good coaching when we have some of the best NFL coaching material in the country to choose from right here on this board.

Rodney Dangerfield said it the best. "I don't get no respect." It's obvious that I know more than our defensive coaches do.... for one thing my game plan works on third downs.
