Makes you wonder if Thomas is getting a bad rap by some.

They paid him so much that a trade wouldn't make any sense. Nobody wants to pickup that contract. I also think the Saints would still be on the hook next season for a ton of money even if we traded him. Not gonna happen.

That said, when will he return?

High ankle sprain is a nagging injury, then a hamstring injury on top of that. He won't be back soon enough because we really need him this week against the Bucs. 49ers the next week, and Falcons after. The next 3 week will probably determine playoff seeding.

Good question.

I think others will need to step up if Mike is unable to go against the Bucs.

Not sure if you've heard but the Niners have lost Jimmy G for the season and Kittle is done for at least 2 months.

Tampa will be tough however I see 3 winnable games.

I have a feeling he could have played this past week, but it makes sense to give him an extra week for the big game against Tampa.

Wouldn't that be sweet? We need a charge on offense that MT brings. We have learned that we have several good receivers with Thomas out. Now if we could just keep them healthy....
