NFC CHAMPIONSHIP / SUPER BOWL

Has anyone given the thought that the Saints could be in the NFC CHAMPIONSHIP game? If so, what other NFC team would most likely be our match up, Seahawks, or Packers? And if the Saints do reach the Super Bowl, who will be to face us? As of now I feel the Steelers are looking to be the main threat.

I'd love to be facing the Steelers when we advance to the Super Bowl. They are very beatable.

They aren’t the juggernaut everyone’s crowning them to be, way to early Mahommee would feast on them. I see them with 3 to 4 losses coming

Nope. If nothing else, the last three years of the Saints in the playoffs has taught me not to look any further than one or two games ahead in the schedule. All it takes is one bad play, or one bad call, or one significant injury to bring the season to a screeching halt.

I am looking forward to the next quarter of the season. Two opportunities against the Failclowns to effectively put the division away with a 5-0 division record along with a weakened San Francisco squad and a matchup with Denver at Mile High. A 4-0 stretch through there puts the Saints at 10-2 and a virtual lock for the #1 seed in the NFC.

I still doubt we make it past round 1 . I want to see our defense play better for more than one week. Right now I’m just enjoying it for what it is.

Give me Peyton Manning and the Colts. We know how that comes out.

No way the Steelers beat KC, I don't think they are as good as Buffalo either.

EDIT** I can't even believe I just said that about Buffalo

Lol, I'm not bragging or anything(I kinda am) but I've been saying all season that this is our year. Our roster spoke to me. Like others have said, I want to see our defense continue to play well, and I wish we had Vonn Bell instead of Malcolm Jenkins(though he looked good against TB and he may make me change my mind if he keeps it up). The offensive arsenal we have this year is different than the last three years. Tre'Quan has finally hit his stride imo. Emmanuel Sanders is a stud. Michael Thomas is finally back. We have Jared Cook and Trautman who I think are both going to be good for us. Then we have the diamonds in the rough, that seem like real diamonds like Callaway. To top it all off we have Kamara and Murray, Kamara being like another WR you have to worry about and Murray just pounding the **** out of defensives. Our roster just looks different this year and doesn't look as dependent on Thomas and Kamara...which I think will make all the difference in the world. Then you have the freaks of nature like Taysom Hill who I think can play jus about every position and can run over anyone with blazing speed and Deonte Harris who has some of the greatest agility I've ever seen and is actually rounding out into a good receiver. We're loaded. It should have been obvious, but we kind of started at a snail's pace and it made everyone relax themselves to the possibilities of what this team can be when healthy. We saw it the other night.

You sure have, Hitta. I hope you continue to be right with your analysis. It's looking better and better.

It looks like we've finally hit our stride. We always start slow but this was covid slow.
