Trautman
I started a thread about how good Callaway looked so I figured that Trautman needed his own thread since he looks damn good too! He definitely looks the part of an NFL tight end. He's smooth, runs crisp routes, catches well and is a strong blocker. He looks like a 1A tight end. Cook may be training his pro bowl replacement.
I'm stoked with the talent we brought in this year. When Baun gets on the field look out! Did I mention Trautman is already looking like a full blown stud! Let's hear your thoughts folks. :bng: |

The two comparisons I have seen the most for Trautman is George Kittle and Travis Kelce. Not bad.

Like what I saw from him on Sunday. He looked much bigger than I thought he was. Good hands. I kind of wondered why he isn't fielding some of those throws that Cook dropped...or fumbled. Lol

I'm hoping he can be the TE we wanted Fleener to be. We need to target the tight ends to stay balanced and make defenses pay for keying on Thomas and Kamara.

He has size, speed and more important...smarts. If he can stay on the same page with Brees the rest of the season will look great.

He's got the dawg mentality gents! I like it! We may have found this years player who is a consistent pro bowler. Cooks can teach him a thing or two about elite play and how to achieve it while he gets comfortable in our system.
