The New Orleans Saints held their first practice of the week ahead of their matchup with the Denver Broncos.

The New Orleans Saints are making the trip up to the Mile High City to face off with the Denver Broncos. The Saints will look to keep their winning streak alive, while also continuing to help build continuity with Taysom Hill in Drew Brees’s absence.

Luckily, the first injury report for New Orleans is relatively short, but there are some big names that pop up on it. Cornerback Marshon Lattimore was a full participant, which is the good news, as was tight end Josh Hill. Unfortunately, Michael Thomas and Alvin Kamara were both limited. Side note - … what's up with Ty Montgomery? He's been a total non factor in New Orleans.

Montgomery was no more than depth at RB which we haven't needed thus far. We're been thin there now with only Washington at #3. But we always have Mike Burton.

I hope they run Murray more and play it safe with Alvin. No need to run Alvin up the middle when you have a back like Murray on the team.

I also think if Lattimore decides to have an off day they should just put P-Rob back in. He did fine last week, maybe it will light a fire under Lattimore’s ass.

Murray had an existing hamstring issue Saint FO felt was manageable based on medicals at the time of signing; Payton stated at presser he really liked versatility and options the slot-back would bring the team...

It would appear the pre-existing hamstring issue cropped up again in practice and worsened, so they shut him down for the week; he could really do damage for us, especially in our screen plays - Get Well Ty...

Armstead being out is bad. Better now than later though and he’s been pretty healthy this year all things considered.

Sounds like he's asymptomatic so he'll be able to come back next week if he gets two negatives before then. At least hope so. He does get a week of rest which can't hurt in itself, right?

I'm thinking they should sit Lattimore another week since the Bronco's passing game shouldn't be all there. The other CBs are playing well and maybe he could use another week to completely heal.

Lattimore practiced fully. There is no reason to sit him unless the game gets totally out of hand. On any given Sunday. We have to win every game to ensure that critical first round bye.
