Armstead tests positive for COVID

Well, now we're out our entire left side of the offensive line. Things just got much more difficult.

It'll take some time to clear NFL Covid/Quarantine Protocols, but the Saints are gonna need to sign a Tackle for sure now...

Yep.

Our O line DEPTH will be tested for sure.

Dang! The left side of our O-line is out and Hurst needs to play better than his first outing. I was not impressed in the least watching him get beat. Maybe time in the system will help.

Against Bradley Chubb? RIP Taysom.

Sucks, imagine if this was a playoff game or the Superbowl.

I'm sure Vic Fangio will be dialing up some misery for us when he hears that news.

Breaking News

All the QBs on the Broncos' roster are ineligible to play Sunday against the Saints after being deemed high-risk, close contacts, sources tell ESPN.

None were wearing masks at the time of exposure, per source.

That's the way the cookie crumbles, but watch Royce Freeman will play out of his skull. I'm also thinking they will no longer be calling it a Trap Game.

Can see the Superbowl being cancelled over this Covid-mess, if the participants are not the preferred choice of the NFL...

So if Brady and Mahommes get sick no Super Bowl? Yep that’s about right.

The league should take a two week, quarantine break.

You on drugs? No way they cancel the top revenue generating game for anything. You need to release some of that pent up ire for the league, JP. Have a cocktail.

That would spell disaster. Where do you think the players are coming into contact with the virus? The facilities and the games are by far the safest environments for them. Besides, things are still under control as long as they follow protocols. The Broncos did not because none of their QB's were wearing masks so whether they have it or not they have to sit. That's their problem.

Brady may not make the playoffs the way their team is going now.

Lost a draft pick because the players weren't wearing masks in the locker room after they just played a game...maskless?! What in the actual ****?! This is absolutely garbage.

Stay off your stupid phones you idiots! Keep that **** out of the locker room. That's a rule that should be enforced. No need to do selfies, tik toks and tweets from the locker room.

Both side of the ball maskless literally face to face with opposing team players.

Are you living in a ****ing cave? Geesh, what color are the glasses you put on when you watch television?

Get you have a golden frame Sports Illustrated poster of Brees and/or Payton you kiss each morning before you take your morning constitution?

That's why we love you here, but to freak out about opining on the possibility of some Good-Ole-hell bullshinski, again, is a bit much...

AG, Do you not remember the sequence of events that transpired vs the Rams in the NFCCG game just a couple of years ago? When a victory was stolen on national television, not unlike an ongoing election?

If Goodell's projected viewership is not what he wants for his annual day of days, you don't think he won't take some kind of action to insure a scripted outcome?

Considering #BigGov/#PoliticalCorrectness stances the NFL has taken these past couple of years, can see as cover for payback against the Saints and its fans - smallest combined franchise market in the NFL...

Never said it would happen, but I can see some bullshinski from Goodell, again...

Had it been a week earlier there would not have been an issue, but the league issued a memo REQUIRING masks in the locker room earlier that week and spelled out that fines and forfeited draft picks would be the penalty. The Saints totally ignored that mandate.

They ****ed up. It's as simple as that.

No poster. But, I do kneel before the Shrine in 9 seconds of silence every morning.

One thing I do not partake in, of course, is the wearing of tinfoil hats.

:D

By the way, what did ya'll think about how Hurst played Sunday? The run game looked good and the Saints ran both right and left of center. I think Cameron Tom was elevated from the PS. Does he play both center and guard?

Yes. Tom covers both inside positions. But I thought we ran right far more often until late in the game.
