Not sure about the Dude, but it’s not always a available A.G. My dad lives north of Austin and Direct TV doesn’t make it to him. I could get it, but the dish goes out when we get our 3 feet of standing snow everywhere. I’ve tried
To even purchase Sunday ticket online but I cant get it unless I buy the dish. I have been seeing the games via FaceTime/zoom with family when not available at prime time or local

I used to have Sunday Ticket. These days there is exactly zero reason to pay for it. Plenty of places online to stream it for free. In my case, stream to my laptop, bluetooth that over to the flat screen. Done.

Roger doesn't get a dime.

I get it because not only do I want to watch my Saints, but I want to be able to watch any and every game possible. If the Saints aren't playing an early game I have the big screen on the eight game mix and just switch sound from game to game. Nothing better than the NFL.

If I want to watch a Saints game that isn’t available over the air, for free, then I go to a sports bar that is showing it, simple, EzPz. One of the best decisions I’ve ever made was to cut the tether I had to cable TV. No way I will establish a new tether to what I consider an arguably worse platform in satellite. Fiber for Internet and individual channel subs, along with free over the air broadcasts. Now, I would be challenged if I were able to sub a Saints HDR/4K stream only, lol. I just might buy that. But..., in all truthiness I don’t care about any other teams or games in the NFL. I’m a Saints fan, and care less who <insert any other team here> is playing.

I go to a sports bar too if I don't get the game. Much like you I don't watch much football other than my beloved Saints. Screw Roger Godhell. He ruined the NFL.

Going to a sports bar isn't an option for me. I can't stand being around others while watching a game ... unless it is in the Stadium itself (edit: or on a cruise). Besides, going to bars without the wife is not how 32 years of happy marriage is accomplished.

And personally, I see nothing wrong with the NFL. It is still the best of all sports. I watch every single game I can. We even plan our cruises on ships that have sports pubs that carry all NFL games. That's a deal maker.
