Malcolm Jenkins

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Anytime Jenkins comes up on this forum it’s prefaced with the reasons people don’t like him. At this point it isn’t football related because he’s looked from average to great since Week 4....

I didn't bring him up but I do agree he's playing to the level we'd all hoped he would. Personally I think the work Jenkins does off the field is important and I'm glad he does it.

The statement wasn’t directed at you specifically, just a general observation. That’s why this thread grew legs.

Like Brees, Jenkins also has a choice. He chose to amplify Brees's comments and (in my opinion) make them seem other than what many thought they were and I'm sure what Brees intended them to be.

That’s between them. Ain’t my business. Getting in other people’s beef can land you in a funeral home or a prison cell where I grew up. If they say it’s dead then it’s dead.

It really isn't anybody's business but theirs. Why is that so hard to understand. Seems pretty basic.

A lot of it really comes across as instigating, and people who instigate fights got beat up too. People who instigated beef got shot too. It’s a dead horse.

I knew that the off field stuff would come in to play in this thread. I honestly wanted to get people's opinion on his play since it may be that he's a big reason that the defense is playing so well.
