When he's ready to dress, let him suit up. But, he shouldn't play in the regular season unless he's completely healthy AND needed.

I'm not surprised. When the reports said that he had "5-8 fractured ribs but he'll be back and ready in 3 weeks", I said No Way.

If Brees isn’t ready to go til the playoffs and Hill is playing well. Do you start a cold/semi rusty Brees or do you start a playing well Hill? Though I don’t like that scenario I’d roll with Hill. What do y’all think?

My spider senses tell me we get Brees back in a "tune up" game vs Carolina in the final game on 1/3/21 (3 weeks from today) of the regular season. I'm not sold on Hill either however I do believe he will give us our best shot at the playoff seeding.

Defense needs to continue to grind.

I edited my response while you quoted me but I think Hill is going to be our best bet as for as playoff seeding goes.

I'm watching the Chiefs vs Miami … our defense will need to stay disciplined in their assignments. Patrick seems to roll out and find a streaking Kelce a lot of times.

We shall see.

The way Taysom played against a decimated Eagles defense, if Brees has as much as a pulse he will start next week.

Hill isn't going to win us any games... But much like Teddy last year he isn't losing them. Both lines killed us this week and everyone came out flat coaches included.

Drew should only play at 100%. We will lose against KC, and that's fine, don't rush Drew back.

When he comes back I want to see that eye of the tiger. Please don't rush him back too soon. It may take longer to totally heal if he's taking hits. Just sayin'.

Probably not the popular opinion on this forum however I'd like to see what Jameis Winston can do (successfully read defenses) against a high powered Chiefs team & bring in Taysom to gadget plays.

I know it's a pipe dream on JW however if we get into a "shootout", Taysom's skill set isn't built to score (see last 6 mins of Philly game) points quickly.

My assumption is that Sean is still allowing Taysom to take most of the 1st team reps at practice this week.
