Re: Saints @ Eagles Game Day Thread
I'm going empty with Thomas, Sanders, Cook, Trautman and Kamara in the pattern. At least three are one on one basically. Hill with the option to run.

Where is Callaway and Bennie Fowler when you need em :p. Special teams … a key ingredient to success on Sundays. |

Bottom line CJGJ missed a “right in his hands” opportunity, and it was definitely six points. Taysom missed a wide open Emanuel Sanders for a TD also, and the field goal kicking obviously missed two kicks. The win was there for the taking. NO portion of the team stepped up. Plain & Simple. <btw> Didn’t DB#9 lose two games this year as the starter? The answer is “yeppers. |

I'm so glad that I chose not to post in the game day thread. I've been trying to be more positive lately. My TV took all the abuse yesterday. Not my bng brothers.lol

Re: Saints @ Eagles Game Day Thread
Saints over paid for Andrus Peat. He's still getting abused in the trenches. Continues to be the weak link on the offensive line.
I worry about him in pass protection. Playoffs are right around the corner and he must perform better & play up to his pay grade and draft status. |

Kicker missed not one, but two FGAs - the difference in the game... Offensive line was porous, at best; Terron Armstead got horribly beat on a number of occasions and there was little push from the middle of the line. Ramczyk was even jumping offsides - another difference in the game... The Defense gave up 17 pts including the bulk of the rushing yards in the first half, not late in the game... And on the onside kick the ball was between not one, but two Saints - Robertson and Morstead and neither wanted the ball bad enough in the bottom of the pile... This was a team loss; the entire team came out flat and played, coached like crap; arguing it all to one player is dishonest at best and shows a complete inability to grasp what happened in the game... |
