The New Orleans Saints announced the following roster moves Thursday, Dec. 24: Activated quarterback Jameis Winston from Reserve/Covid-19, Activated wide receiver Marquez Callaway from Injured Reserve, signed wide receiver Austin Carr to the active roster from the practice squad, waived wide receiver Tommylee Lewis and guard/tackle Patrick Omameh, placed wide receiver Tre'Quan Smith on Injured Reserve and elevated wide receiver Lil'Jordan Humphrey to the active roster from the practice squad for Friday's game vs. Minnesota.

The New Orleans Saints practice squad filled its final vacancy by signing wide receiver Jake Lampman, a free agent who started his NFL career as an undrafted rookie with the Saints back in 2016.

We have a couple of players that only look good when others are out and they ‘look good’ because they are doing the things they should be doing but others are failing at.

When Michael Thomas isn’t on the field we seem to be prepared to bestow All-Pro honors for someone that can just catches a ball.

3Quan and Cook are a couple of names that come to mind that are receivers, we have others at other positions.

Murray time is what it should be. Exposing Brees 40 times and asking him to win with this group of guys isn't smart. If the sole goal was to win the game, Hill should be the QB.

I agree that Murray could really go off today. On the other hand I'll take Drew over Hill any day.

Best blocker out of all the wideouts but we had Coleman for that. Didn’t have to use a draft pick either. What happened to Emmanuel Butler?

We touched on Emmanuel in your other post. He was waived back in August by the Saints. Did well in practice, but apparently he he didn't show enough in the coaches eyes.

Last I read, he along with former Saint Cameron Meredith tried out for the Detroit Lions back in Sept however they didn't extend either a contract.
