Easton, Andrus Peat, Malcom Brown ... FULL PARTICIPANTS today.
That's awesome news. We'll need those guys in the playoffs. |

I'm in no way trying to defend Andrus Peat, however we need good depth at the position heading into post season.
Seeing him as a full participant at practice is good news. Hopefully Andrus took CSP message personal and go out there and perform. Playing well in the post season is where it matters most. |

As soon as Armstead goes down the rest start falling down like Dominoes. Peat being the first Domino. You would think when he plays next to Armstead Peat would benefit. I知 all for letting Easton start. |

Edit: Peat is a good pulling guard in the run game. His problem is that he's just not very good in pass protection and that is when his whiffs get other players hurt....namely Drew. |

Don't know the extent of the Marcus Williams injury but I'm sure coach plans to have him sit vs Carolina.

Needing to win this game is a good thing. I get resting players for medical reasons. I never like players resting mentally.

Re: NewOrleansSaints.com | Injury Report(s) Week 17
It's a bit more nuanced than that to me. There are competing goals of playoff positioning and potential injury. If your playoff seed is locked in win or lose, then it's just really not smart to expose starters to potential injury when there is no benefit one way or the other.
However, that's not the case here. The Saints gain significant, and possibly ultimate, benefit from winning this game. So, resting players isn't even a question. I'm surprised that many fans seem to be asking the question when there's no doubt the Saints should play this game all out. SFIAH |
