Trey Hendrickson out for Saints on Sunday

Defensive end Trey Hendrickson has been ruled out of the game. Hendrickson has a neck injury and went from limited participation on Wednesday to being out of practice Thursday. He remained on the sideline for Friday’s session.

I don’t want to hurt after a playoff game again. Don’t do it to me Saints.

It's best to stay away from hard alcohol during playoff games....or Saints games in general. Lol

Agreed, K. We’ll need him for tougher competition in the weeks to come

Hendrickson has performed well, but he is not our best DE. He is the recipient of the pressure by others. He's the dude that's been in the right place at the right time. You line Granderson up in the exact same spot on the same plays and he'd be right there too.

Re: Trey Hendrickson out for Saints on Sunday

Hendrickson has been our best DE this year; this hurts...

But if he's hurt, he's not playing at the level that he has been so either way he'd be out for the game...

Get well, Trey; your teammates have got to step and give you an opportunity in the next stage of the tournament...

Re: Trey Hendrickson out for Saints on Sunday

Shame, but it won't make a huge difference. It was more important to get Brown back to the interior and the Saints are very healthy there now with really good rotation.

How do you know that?

Did coaches tell you Hendrickson offers no better performance than any other DE?

Seems like he is the starter for a reason and displaced a big time 1st round pick to be the guy.

Cam Jordan is our best all round DE. That's why he attracts the double teams. So, basically, the offensive line coaches across the league told me Jordan is the best DE on the team. I'll guarantee you if you asked any player or coach on the Saints they'd say the same thing.

Snap counts also signify who's best. Jordan has been in for 78.01% of defensive snaps. Hendrickson is second for DE's at 53.35%.

Cam Jordan is older and has been injured this year; he was struggling against backup offensive linemen during the regular season; he's not been the elite defensive end he's been the past three seasons...

And he still remains the one drawing double teams and taking part in 50% more snaps than the next closest DE.

He wasn't drawing double teams this year like he was in past seasons; he struggled more this season, especially vs backup offensive linemen...

He may not be drawing as many double teams, but he is definitely still drawing more than any other exterior lineman on our team. All said and done, whether you like it or not, JP, Cam Jordan is still our best DE. Is he as good as he's been in the past? No. But he's still the best all round DE on the team.

Re: Trey Hendrickson out for Saints on Sunday

Henrickson's strength is the pass rush. That is clear. That's why he's in there on passing downs. Davenport is a better run defender and that's why he's in there more often in those situations. Jordan is in there in most all situations. He is by far more versatile.

I disagree

Cam Jordan is easily the worst DE on the team. Granderson should be starting there.

Actually, it looks extremely familiar to the last cat that adopted us back in July. It was clearly a stray. It took almost two weeks to get it to trust us. Just short of a year old according to our vet. He's gained about three pounds since then and is doing great.

He is the same color as the one in the gif. Wife named him Ginger for the color. Cool with me for Ginger Baker of Cream.

This is him when he settled in this Summer.

We have one that looks identical to yours AG. We named him Pumpkin. My wife picked him up after work or rather he picked her up. She was at the car and out of no where was this screaming kitten at her feet. She brought him home. He got huge. Not fat but muscle. I think he topped out at 23 pounds. He’s about 16-18 years old now and mostly skin and bones. We’re worried he won’t be with us much longer. But he doesn’t seem to be in pain other than being old and sore. He still gets around pretty good. He’s the most social cat we’ve ever had. Most people in our old neighborhood back in Louisiana knew Pumpkin. He made the rounds.

The best cats find their owners. Not the other way around. I share pictures of him now privately later. Our other cat that adopted us five years ago, Pepper, is still jealous. LOL!

I don’t know why people don’t think stingers are more serious. I doubt Hendrickson plays again this postseason.

Hey, he's smart enough to hide in the closet and close the door behind him. That cat deserves to live!

My cat can open doors. We're still working on closing them. My cat likes an open door policy. Leave the door open so she can come and go as she wishes in warm or cold weather. My electric bill is killing me.

We put in cat doors in the front and back that can read the microchips in both cats. They can come and go through them, but nothing else can come in. Of course, we didn't consider that they could bring something in with them. Pepper, our six year old, has brought in probably 200 rats and mice (a few alive), baby rabbits, birds (most alive), moles (all dead), a snake, and hundreds of newts (eats them leaving heads to step on in bare feet) over the past five years.

That’ll make us full strength “if” Cook and Anzalone step up also.

Speaking of Thor (Alex), I thought he played well vs Chicago.

Confidence building & we'll need his best efforts vs TB.

He did, whilst our defense seemed faster with Kwon, it also conveniently coincided with the time our run D started becoming leaky.

Was gonna mention that in the GD thread. He really did play well.
