If he had played the previous season, he probably would have gone a lot higher in the draft.

I think Adebo had a tremendous year for a rookie CB. One of the hardest positions on the field to play. I think that with him and Lattimore on the outside and Williams and CJGJ on the inside we will be a team that other teams won't like to pass against.

Suddenly being $60 million over the cap is not an issue. Think these guys are going for the league min?

And not only knees. Look how quickly Kwon Alexander returned from that torn Achilles in Week 16 last December and play once again at a high level. That would have cost a player the following season under previous scenarios.

They already don't like to run against us. :D Not a bad position to be in.

I know we can't keep everyone, however ...

Don't want to lose PJ Williams.

Will be surprised if we're able to afford to retain P.J. Williams...

We have $88 million in cap space that can be instantly created for 2022 simply by converting 2022 roster bonuses and base salaries into signing bonuses. Even more can be found with extensions. We can afford to pay him, but do we want to for a given sum? I agree with Major that he should be one of several priorities with all of that available cap.

But, we'll see when that time comes, I suppose. Contract time is one of my favorite times of the NFL season. Just like the pre-draft and draft are yours, JP. The NFL has something for everyone. No wonder it continues to make money hand over fist.

Yeah. Both knee injuries and achilles injuries are the type of stuff that ended people's careers 20-30 years ago. Modern surgery techniques are spectacular and the rehab processes are so very improved.
