This potential awesomeness is what kills me about Reggie: games go by, and you don't see it; then all of the sudden, just when I am ready to give up on Reggie, he does something like that.
This is the type of highlight that gets burned into DCs' and players' heads, and that's why still the LBs and safeties gravitate towards Reggie every time he is in the game, which opens things up for everyone else. Most leaps over the line and into the endzone in goal to go situations occur when you are on the 2-1 yard line. Now opposing DCs and players know Reggie can do it from the 6!! So that puts something else in their heads to think about.
You just never know what Reggie is going to do, and a lot of that is because of Payton getting the most out of him as a decoy when he isn't getting the ball.
