Howdy. 'Been a "casual" Saints fan since childhood, but somehow
got bitten by The Saints Bug in about 1991. 'Been pretty crazy about
'em ever since, but just got to see 'em in person for the first time
this past year. Twice! Hallelujah!

I used to lurk at SR since before The Failure of the Federal Levees,
but ultimately decided I'd be happier somewhere else. I finally
had some time this week to compare forums because I miss Saints
talk and I miss Black And Gold Nation banter. After all was said and
done, I decided on this one. It has just enough moderation but not
too much, and Saints fans with enough knowledge, passion, and
participation to make it fun. So, thanks! And WHO DAT!?!

Welcome AS66.
Its nice to have a place online to talk Saints and Gulf Coast life, w/o
all the drama of politics & the usual internet baggery you get elsewhere. Its the #1 reason I hear people say they chose B&G.

It creeps up here sometimes too, but the "special" people are pretty much outnumbered. At SR they are the majority and the ruling bunch.

I think we're doing well for the offseason. Especially an offseason preceeding a possible non-season. Just wait till we have a season.

Okay, two questions I can't seem to find answers for, so maybe
someone can help out a noob.

1.) Is there any way to disable or opt out of the "Points" and "Activity"
bars and statistics, and
2.) Is there any way to opt out of showing up the the "Users Online"
and "Users Viewing This Thread" lists?

First of all HOLY WOW! THAT IS A SAINTS CHAT BOARD AVATAR! Can I get a poster of that somewhere? It must find its way into my house!
I have a spot for it already.

2nd, I have no idea what makes points or reps or who is online or who is twittering, or twattering (actualy Bobby Hebert-ism said on WWL.) I dont facebook or even text. I think my rep points is supposed to be good, but I dont really know or care. I guess its like some kind of video game? When you do find out, dont tell me nothing, because I might find out I am the least liked person here--- hahahahahaha....

Welcome again, and thanks for jumping on my Tulane Stadium thread.
