King Cake Burger

Brace yourselves. There is now a King Cake burger available just in time for Mardi Gras 2014 in New Orleans. Given all the attempts and varying degrees of fusion food available these days, it was only a matter of time.

But a King Cake burger? It certainly stops you in your tracks. And it could be in the running for one of the more efficient meals available. You can get dinner and dessert all in one intriguing handful.

The burger is the creation of Food Drunk Truck, which is the entry into that mobile cuisine category from American Roadshow Catering.

According to their Facebook page, they will set up shop for the Uptown Mardi Gras parades at two locations; one on Lee Circle and the other at St. Charles and Julia Street

C'mon, fess up! You'd try it at least once, right? Don't you tell your kids that?

Nahhh I do not like sweet and savory mixed or sweet in an entree'. I generally cut off the sweet part of the ham. I like then both, just not together.
