6th pick in Fantasy

this is a discussion within the Fantasy Football Community Forum; I have the 6th pick in my fantasy league and I'm not sure who to take. If Chris Johnson falls to 6th overrall, do I take a gamble and select him or do I pass and take Andre Johnson?...

I think you should probably draft the best RB available at #6. My inclination would be to draft Chris Johnson but get backup plans and handcuffs later in the draft.

How many teams are in your league?

If Aaron Rodgers is there, I'd be inclined to take him... if not the best available RB.

Obviously AJ is one of the top 3 fantasy WR's in the game... but any interesting stat to remember is that out of the last 6 seasons, he has 0 double digit TD seasons. I'd hold out for Fitz or Megatron in the second round.

I agree ... I would tend to take a RB, with outside consideration to Rodgers or Vick.

There have been years where I've taken receivers with my first two picks in the draft but this doesn't seem like one of those years where I would risk it. The abundance of good QB'S, the spread formation and increased used of tight-ends has diminished the elite WR's a bit.

He may still be there since he is holding out. I'm just not sure I want to pick him and risk him not playing for awhile.
