Any big-name-quarterback will put fans in the seats at this point. Whether we draft Leinart or Young, they're winners and adding one of them to the team will get people excited for the future.

You know I just thought of something. What if we packaged our 2007 first round pick, 06 fifth, and A.B. and shopped it around to the teams in the top ten? I think we could sucker one of them into giving us their 06 first round pick in return. Then we could take Leinart or Young then Hawk, Fergussen, Ryans, or Jimmy Williams.

i actually agree with you on this one wheelman. if leinart and hawk/ryans/williams are what i think they are, our 2007 first rounder will be in the upper 20's anyways. so we really wouldn't be loosing much. i will have to look a little closer to see what teams might be interested in such a thing.

People won't come to see someone play if they lose. I don't care what your name is... ask Farve when there losing street was being extended they were not staying or coming to the games.

Well folks may debate and debate and debate all day. Maybe trading down is the best option but you have to remember that it takes two parties to trade. We can want to trade down all we want but if no one wants to accept our offer or is trying to lowball us then the trade down isn't worth it. I think WHEN we don't trade down fans should realize this. We are unlikely to get an equal value for a trade for our pick, which is why you rarely see anyone trade out of the #1 and #2 picks.

No trades of any kind for the our first pick, let's grab Young and get ready our second pick.

I think Oakland (#6) and Arizona (#10) are the best bets.

oakland doesn't have the #6 pick yet. the 6th and 7th pick status is subject to coin flip, which still hasn't been done yet.

Oh yeah, I forgot. Either way I think they may go for it.

the 6th pick in the draft has been the jinx spot for the past decade. every pick taken at that spot has been a bust for every team picking.
