this is a discussion within the NFL Community Forum; Just heard a clip from him again this morning- I had thought befoe that he had a cold, but now I am realizing he just talks likes this, but why does he talk like he is Clint Eastwood? I can't ...

The KFAN Rube Chat board has Wilf not firing Childress only because he is waiting to sign Gruden as Vikes' HC at the end of the season ($12 million guaranteed to Childress this season--whether he coaches or not) could also have something to do with it.
Wilf also has to contend with the stadium issue, and the fact that L.A. will have a team soon (either the Vikes, Jaguars, or Chargers). |
