The expectations were for him to play in a role like Sproles stepped right in an did. Reggie (like Ingram) just expected to have the same success on this level as they did in College without growing up and changing their games. Does this mean there is is still hope for Ingram?

I was excited when we drafted him, and even more excited to see how
excited the fan base was, when we sold out the Superdome.

He worked his ass off, and had some spectacular plays that put us in
the spotlight, and helped
1. save the team, 2. win a super bowl for us.

Reggies ok with me.

Yeah, I used to crack on him for 'keeping up with the kardashians', but the Lions are definitely benefiting from his work ethic & talent ... it just cracks me up how much the Lions/Saints have in common,.

Ok. Good for him. Just don't play us. We will slaughter you.

I'd like to see another NO/DET wildcard matchup this year, even if the result would probably be the same as last time. For all the bravado Lions fans can muster, their team still has yet to prove they can back it up come playoff time ... but I'd like to see Kenny Vaccaro matchup against Megatron, the revamped Saints O-line vs the more efficient Lions D-line, the improved (somewhat) Lions defensive backfield vs Saints passing game, Saints vs Det with Det actually having a running game like they do now ... some interesting matchups that would make for a good game, IMO.

We sometimes didnt use him right but it still didnt account for some of the things he did, running out of bounds one yard short of a 1st down on crucial 3rd down vs washington, nearly losing the game vs dallas in 2010 fumbling on a punt return running sideways

All of us wanted him to succeed and i think payton gave him ample opportunities to be a big player for us, but as 2009-2010 came about it was obvious PT was the better RB

I wish him well in detroit, he helped put our team on the map and gave us some solid (if inconsistent) years and helped us win the SB, we did right by letting him walk though

We got sproles

That 25 yard leap for a TD is one for the ages.
