Re: Greg Hardy is a FA

I'd take him.
End of the day he's a free man that wasnt convicted.

Hardy,Jordan,Junior plus a FA/draft pick off the edge would give us some much needed rotation. Lofton playing MLB,Haralson and another good coverage LB would be good. Would need some help at DT and id let Bunkley go.

Suh wants 'JJ Watts' money and is willing to bankrupt any team to get it ... the Lions have hinted at playing the franchise-card (at great expense to them) and a few players have talked about restructuring, #shrug ... theoretically "yeah", but realistically, you gotta' make it work under the cap.

Suh's basically a one-trick pony that just bull rushes up the field & would be put to good use as a NT in a 3-4, IMO, but I think if he doesn't stay in Detroit, he'll wind up with the Giants, SFran or Seattle (if they can get him his cash).

Re: Greg Hardy is a FA

Our locker room is struggling now. Can we afford another distraction? With all the ownership issues I want a steady solid veteran presence in the locker room. Spend a little money and bring in a Sean Payton kind of player.

We need to step back from the poker table and stop gambling on every player we bring to the team. Payton likes to gamble.......he's good at it during a football game. Not so much with the risk he's been taking on players the last few years. It's almost like he needs to go back to his earlier approach to bringing in high character players only. It worked wonders when he came here initially before he relaxed his stance on player profiles.

Re: Greg Hardy is a FA

None of us truly knows what happened with Greg Hardy.

What I do know is that our team absolutely sucked butt getting pressure on QBs last year....
