A politician in a Republican state making sure he stays in office. LOL. Got to give him credit for being smart on that one.

Possible? Yes. I tend to judge things on face value first and with a cynical view overall when it comes to politicians. He lost his bid for Governor as a Democrat in a Republican state. THEN, he amazingly gets "conviction" and switches parties. LOL. I don't personally know the man. But, if it walks like a duck.......

He also moved to Virginia and changed his registration to Virginia as well. And if you heard his reasoning, you wouldn't find his switch amazing at all.

I find it odd that many liberals profess to distrust politicians yet continue to vote for the party that is expanding government influence and power over Americans everyday lives.

So when a Democrat criticises anyone for expanding Government powers and/or increasing spending I just roll my eyes. They are either uninformed or they're lying. I don't know all Democrats, but as you say, if it walks like a duck...

As usual, your Republican's are the gospel world view prevents you from hearing or even considering for a moment a differing opinion. I see the Democrats as the lesser of the two evils. I don't trust ANY politician on just what they say. I try to look beyond the talking points, sound bites, and slogans. For example their voting records. Paul Ryan voted for the largest expansion of government ever when Bush was President. He voted for deficit spending on every occasion under Bush. NOW, it's bad. NOW, it's wrong. In Ryan's speech, he blamed President Obama for a GM plant closing. In TRUTH, the plant closed in December BEFORE President Obama took office. If you choose to vote Republican, fine. What I'm constantly amazed at is how someone like you turns a blind eye to OBVIOUS lies and deception, which you can't help but see, and not only refuses not to admit it, but actually defends it to a fault. If you came here and said, yeah, our political system is filled with liars and cheats in BOTH parties, and occasionally admit to clear wrongs by your chosen party, but you just see them as the lesser of the two evils, I would have respect for your opinion. But, to think EITHER political party in this country is the gospel, is just lacking common sense and good judgement.
