I've noticed there isn't reallt red states and blue states anymore. There are red portions and blue portions to most states.

The inner city parasites are blue, while the suburbs and rural areas are red producers and achievers.

We've already discussed it here, as a matter of fact. If Louisiana were to join Texas by seceding, it could form a new country ... we could call it either LaTex or Texiana. By controlling the energy corridor and the mighty Mississippi, we would have the rest of the country by the short and curlies. I vote for Danno as new president of LaTex!

That old saying The South will rise again. with enough votes could come true. With long growing seasons and the gulf all the coastal states combined could thrive. Just exclude Atlanta and it could be great!!

Companies are starting to move to the south to get away from unions. Here in PA, major compies like Caterpillar finally had enough and moved to TX (record profits!). The northeast is actually becoming worse than the south. The south never had tax revenue from them to rely on.
