Funny I just had this conversation with my Mom last night, who is pissed, but less pissed than me, about this scam.

Mom: it's not that big of a deal I guess...

Me: Oh hell yes it is. The freedom my children will have lost by the time they're my age is staggering.

Well LEDs are the future anyway... it's too bad they are charging confiscatory prices for them now. If they really wanted, they could do it overnight in mainstreaming LED bulbs. But one of PRESBO's buddies, the CEO of guess who, GE, whose company paid zero taxes last year, is at the helm of this very same company which would be severely affected by this transition to LEDs. Yet another example of a double standard by this regime.
