One difference between safe and dangerous

this is a discussion within the Poli-Sci Community Forum; Literally just one separates what is safe and what is dangerous in NYC. Doing for the sake of doing is how things become worse....

Re: One difference between safe and dangerous

Truly an asinine action by New York.

REQUIRED to sell your pre 1994 over 7 round mags out of state with in a year???

This is not only on assault rifles:
The 9mm pistol mag that holds 15 rounds is banned
The .22 pistol mag that holds 10 rounds is banned

The .45 ACP pistol mag that holds 6 rounds is legal.. LOL and this pistol does the most damage of all.

Cuomo gun bill fact sheet

However lets look at the economics of all of this.

Cash flow into New York.
1. Selling all banned mags ans weapons out of state -> $ for New York
2. I will bet that somewhere within New York State there is a 6 round magazine manufacturer that is about to be born.
3. Re-certification charges.... In regards to this I have no clue what "Certification" is in the first place.

This makes me laugh uncontrollably:

Existing 10 round magazines are grandfathered in but can only be loaded with 7 rounds.

Ahhhhhh... The honor system. WTF?

You should expect some in my replies.

Re: One difference between safe and dangerous

Cuomo is a smart, nice guy.
What is thinking about, I don't know.
He is really missing the answer here.

This is much to do about nothing.

Relax folks. Whether you are in NY state or to Hawaii, relax.

Guns are legal in this country.
Will remain forever legal.
There is no way to remove and regulate guns from people.

Answers. Where are the asnwers to avoid, prevent this mass killing sprees.
I understand Cuomo's sadness. Truly he is thinking , maybe this will work.
I won't fault his heart for having sympathy, emotion about the last mass killing spree we had here which was all of those kids and staff at that school.

You have to take emotions out of things to find solutions or think about things.

Cuomo wants to regulate guns. Ammo for guns.

Okaaaaayyyy!!!

Tell me who is going to Harlem and the Bronx and get gangs to please turn in their guns? Turn in their ammo.
The AFL-CIO would take on this winnable case in a NYC minute.
Who is going to say, those people cannot and should not have guns?

Anyone wanting to ummm, try to take any guns away from some ummm, Italians in Staten Island or Queens?
Ok. Sure hope you have a real good insurance policy for spouse and kids cos' you gonna' be swimming with the fishes...never to be seen or heard of again. Just one day vanished.

Cuomo missed the answer on this . He does not have the answer.
