The man is over-the-top arrogant. He said, pretty much, that whatever Congress failed as per his agenda he would push through via executive order. I so hope this country can survive the rest of his term. With any luck the Congressional elections in a year or so will take some of his steam and his lame duck status will begin to slow his roll. He is, without any doubt, the worst President at the worst time. God help us all...

The overall message from POTUS was that they want to "invest" our money for us in new "innovation".


Invest and innovation are two words that our Government have absolutely zero successful track record with.


Oh, and they are going to add about 500bn of new spending with out raising the deficit one dime.... TAXES are a coming

I think an even more dangerous situation is the precedent he's setting that the main stream media is willing to accept and/or ignore. I think Oak posted that tid bit about democracies fail due to fiscal disaster, and are then always follwed by a dictatorship.

The next President may be a severe right winger or an even more severe left winger (yes, that is actually possible).

What is tolerated by this generation will be celebrated by the next.

Obama State of the Union = Jerry jones giving a 1/2 time speech... A lot of talk about crap that isn't reality and then his employees applauding every sentence because they HAVE TO.....


Because in the end every heart beat in that auditorium is part of the failure.
