This would be a good time to walk away, and let the jury decide.

*hint hint*

Here is the answer to your question that you won't like. If we don't give them any unforced points we still lose because they would've scored more with their offense when given enough chances. So to me it's a moot point.

But yet again, I started this off with questions you ran from mine by trying to flip the switch with th 8th grade reverse phsyco babble. We lead the NFL currently in turnovers i've known that for 6 weeks, I haven't looked at stats but I'm pretty sure we maybe off about 2 or 3 from the next team and about 5 or 6 from being in the middle of the pack? In other words there aren't that many in between the average and the worse is there?

Were we the worst last year? the year before? the year before that? so why weren't we winning then? Ooh, and again how many teams turn the ball over on offense repeatedly during games and still win? And why is it, that our offense can't turn the ball over and this team still win? How many times have the other 31 teams offenses struggled without scoring TD'S, turning the ball over and only kicking FG'S and yet they still win the game? Last and final question, over the past 5 years how many times has the Saints offense struggled like a normal teams, and couldn't get into the endzone, and only kicked a FG or 2 and the team still won?

If you are not a coward answer.

This has to be the dumbest post I have ever seen. Seriously. Again, what do other team's turnovers have to do with ours? What does last year, or 5 years ago, have to do with this year? You know what I have noticed the last 5 years? Brooks has sucked. Deal with that. And only a truly insane person would say that we would still have lost had we not given them 21 points. Your ignorance knows no bounds. Name one team that has GIVEN an opponent 21 points on turnovers and still won. Doesn't happen. And if it has, it's an anomoly and not the norm. You know the difference right? It's stupid to say "Well the defense should just overcome the most turnovers in the league." Downright stupid. How about the offense should just not turn the damn ball over so much. Most in the freaking league? You don't have a clue about football, and I am done wasting my time on you. We beat the Panthers, one turnover. We beat the Bills, no turnovers. In our 4 losses, 18 turnovers. Who the hell would seriously think a team can win when the defense has to overcome 4.5 turnovers per loss? Clown.

And forgive me, the Falcons got 21 points off turnovers? I thought we scored 31, so that means we won right, cause they didn't have any offensive scores, no long drives?
Finally, someone BEGINS to see the light. I just don't get the complaining about the QB or individual play. Two simple facts remain: 1) Football is a team sport and ONE cannot carry the MANY, and 2) If you cough the ball up to the other team and don't get turnovers in return, you WILL lose in the NFL.

Can someone tell me what our boys' giveaway/takeaway number is thus far this season?

saintswhodi 10-18-2005 01:57 PM

Hmm, the defense did get a takeaway. The defense also forced punts. The offense just gave it away more. Seems pretty simple. 14 points from offensive turnovers. 7 points from a special teams play. 21 points unearned. Minus that we win the game. If the offense doesn't turn it over at all, we win the game. How is it that hard to understand? When your offense turns the ball over THE MOST IN THE LEAGUE, there is no reason to even look at turnover margin. Hell, the team that has created the most turnovers is Cincy. If their offense turned it over as much as ours, they would only be PLUS TWO in giveaway/takeaway. EVERY OTHER TEAM IN THE LEAGUE would be negative. EVERY ONE. there is n;t even an argument there any more. Offense stops turning over the damn ball, we win. Period.

Whodi, the guy that started this thread is sleeping with AB. He will not listen to the facts or any logical argument. All he is good for is making the blood boil, which I almost think he does on purpose cause no one can be that ignorant. I've pretty much stopped responding to his blabber but do read it time to time for a laugh. Also beware you might be in a "click".

I knew there was something..............

And I would consider not responding to a thread, after I asked nicely.

You're all idiots, so move on to the next topic. I really, really, really don't want to be forced into something that I'd rather not do.

This is the FINAL ****ING WARNING!
