What i don't understand is that the defensive woes have been well documented for 2 years now. Every week you act as if it's some big surprise that they suck. With no real improvements what made you think this year would be any different.
I will go you one better. I predict the defense will give up at least 300 yards of offense next week, and probably the week after. And AB wasn't almost flawless. When you say that kind of stuff Peyton Manning is the measuring stick, and AB doesn't compare. |

Special teams and turnovers did it to us again. Since AB was brought into this thread, why is it he can be 98% accurate one week and should be riding the pine the next? Why can't he play like this every game? Yeah our defense could have done better and they actually did in the end forcing a long Field goal try. The field goal was wide but penaltiy gave them another shot. Defense did well today other than craft, and offense did well today other than turnovers. Special teams blew. Smith is the back that Duece should have been but maybe it's too early to say that.

This thread is funny. I am pissed about the stupid calls at the end, but we lost cause we gave 21 points to the Falcons they didn't have to earn. Our defense played GREAT. At halftime they had only allowed 3 points had gotten an INt, and had sacked Vick a couple of times. The Falcons got one TD off a fumble return, and one off a blocked FG. They got another TD after Brooks horrible ass pass behind Devery in the midst of three defenders. I was at the game. If we don't give away those points, we win, plain and simple. 13 points may be able to be pinned on the D. Yeah they suck.

First, our defense didn't play horrible. They actually played a pretty damn decent game. I'm definitely with you on that whodi. Except for Craft. He was a real liability yet again today. I'm ready to see him gone. Second, Brooks' INT was a horrible decision and a horrible pass. He played good today but not great. He should have been picked at least two other times, but the Falcons dropped 'em. It is another example of how Brooks makes mistakes at critical times that kill us. Say what you want but that is a damn fact. Third, it was crappy clock management. They shouldn't have called that first time out yet. There was almost 1:30 left on the clock. They should have preserved the TO and let some more clock run down. And, fourth, the refs were definitely a factor in the turnout of this game. I don't like to use that as an excuse, but it's hard to argue with it. They made poor decisions on three scoring plays in this game and if they had gotten it right on any of them the result would have been different.
