Here's an impressive scouting report:

Goodwin has good height and above average overall size. He tends to get overweight and out of shape at times. Can look sluggish and lacks explosive quickness out of his stance. Is inconsistent still. Has a tendency to bend at his waist. He is beginning to play with better balance and seems to have greater awareness. He clearly is picking up the scheme and looks more confident. He shows versatility playing OC and OG. He has the bulk and overall strength to anchor versus the bull rush. He's not an explosive blocker and he won't simply overpower defenders, but he is starting to lose his finesse tag
I guess the only reason we're interested is because he can play center?

How long does it take to make a decision? Or did we already lose another one to Ditech?

I wanted them to keep Aaron, but if not then they went after Brees. But if they did then they were not going to get a lot of high priced players. And by the way don't most teams get one high priced player in each FA period? The Saints team is better than most people believe.
