Reggie Bush

Yes the Saints played horrible, but the mistakes they are making are more physical than mental and that gives me hope. In the two games they have played so far the turnovers, holdings, presnap penalties, and general bonehead calls by the coaching staff have been held to a minimum. I can live with this because in time the players will come and talent can be built through the draft.
But the thing that really gives me hope is Reggie Bush. When he touches the ball I actually get excited about what could happen next. The only other player I have ever seen that made me feel that way was Barry Sanders.
When Reggie scores that first touchdown in the Dome against the hated Falcons on the 25th of September to beat their a** everyone should think about how lucky we are to have this kid on our team and how bright the future really is. Just remember where we were one year ago today. We were discussing the possiblity of never seeing the Saints in New Orleans again. I for one am thankful and proud of the path OUR TEAM is on.

It was funny up here in Dallas today. they were like "see Reggie is just a good College player". What they pointed at were his lack of yards last night. He only ran the ball 4 times.4 times!!!!!!!!! for 9 yards. All it takes is one juke move, and he could be gone for 60 like that. 5 carries for 69 yards.....aaaaaaaagggggggghhhhhhh I hate these yucks up here. This is why I am glad I am a Saints fan.. I can appreciate the little victories that happen and will truly appreciate it when the Saints win the big one ( hell I cried when they won their first playoff game). I get tired of these fair weather Cowgirl fans who only stand behind their team when they are on top.

I too see a light at the end of the tunnel. I do not think it will be this year, but I think the foundation will be stronger in 2 years and we will be on our way. I too am on the edge of my seat when Reggie gets the ball. I am also excited about having a good inside runner, a smart quarterback and some talent at the receivers.

As for the Cowboys players, I heard several excerpts where they talked about Reggie and how quick and elusive he was. That was after he carried the ball 4 times...... I cannot wait for the day that this team wins it all.............I will buy every one on this post a case of Abita, and a damn shrimp po boyfrom Fishermans Cove on Williams Blvd. And let me tell ya brah..that day is coming.....Laissez Bon Temps Roulette

Respect my authori-tie

Right on, right on. There is indeed a palpable excitement. It isn't the hyped up make a story out of nothing ESPN style either. Is it beyond Saint fans? ESPN fantasy has him as the #20 player OVERALL. Chris Motensen took him #6 overall ahead of Rudi Johnson, Stephen Jackson, Ronnie Brown, Cadillac, etc. I won't be surprised if his total touches go beyond some of the early expectations quickly. You can't keep a guy like that out.

they hate evey body in dallas except themselves. Give Bush a healthy line that has played together for a time and he will be okay. FU** americas team. They were the pits not long ago. hey we beat them regularly and look forward to the W when they came to town. Talk to me 3 years from now and we will see. He who laughs last laughs loudest.

I also live in Dallas. I will be at the game in Irving later this year in one of my customers luxury boxes. And guess what I will have my Reggie Bush Authentic jersey on and will be taunting the crap out of these johnny come lately fans up here when Reggie strikes them down with great vengence and furious anger. I may lose a customer but at least they will know who the better team is.

To add to all of the above....

They limited Reggie's touches. In the regular season he will be all over the place. In the last game they just used him as a RB in basic plays. Like all the color commentators say, Reggie is excellent "in space". All he needs is a 5 yard cushion in between him and his defender(s) and he'll always make them miss. Not to mention he garners so much attention from defenders that he's an excellent decoy. Our O will definitely be better than what they've shown thus far. I think they don't want to show their hand much right now.
