It is a Madden Curse that whomever is on the cover of Madden gets hurt that season..it be a season ending injury or out for a few weeis. i would rather see LT or someone else make the cover instead of one of our Saints...

It's always fun to see the overall ratings before I start playing each new Madden.

I figure they should be as follows. Going this far into the playoffs really helped. Rough estimates

D. Brees - 97 overall
D. McAllister - 90 overall
R. Bush - 90 overall, 90 hands
M. Colston - 91 overall, 95 hands
M. Karney - 92 overall
J. Brown - 94 overall
C. Grant - 90 overall
W. Smith - 94 overall

For the years, I have played with Madden, I hated having Aaron Brooks at quarterback. It seemed everytime I would get in the opponents territory, some programmer would always have Brooks being picked off like clockwork. I haven't had a chance to play the latest Madden out on the PS3. I heard they really beefed up the Saints. I can only imagine how dangerous we'll be in Madden 08. WHO DAT!

Sounds like real life.

For all of those that don't like to keep going to substitutions to use Reggie in the game, build your own formations and plays that are similar to the ones the Saints use in real life. I've done it and it makes my offense extremely hard to stop. And, don't let anybody tell you you're 'cheating' because you use your own playbook. It's not cheating, it's football smarts.

Also, I thought the Hall of Fame mode has made the latest Madden worth the purchase. If you're not happy with the playbooks, make your own.
