Let's play a little game called "I made the Saints lose because...".

Maybe I'm a little OC (Obsessive Compulsive), but during the last couple of weeks I've done more than a few things with a Saints win in mind. We all do it, whether we ant to our not. Hoping that our actions or inactions would influence the team to win. Unfortunately, they lost, and I made the Saints lose because... my wife and I left Church early last Sunday.

I let my wife watch the game.

I checked online airfare and hotel rates to New Orleans for Feb 3-5 after Reggie's run....

I still think the ESPN guys had something to do with it ...

That's what I'm talkin' about.

Come on guys, it's kinda cathardic.

I also made the Saints lose because I bought a bunch of Saints gear this past week.

Took the hat off during the game....

I took a piss before halftime.

I had sex before the game. Took my legs out and ruined my intensity.

Had a nightmare about the game on Friday. I don't usually pay much attention to my dreams (for example, last night I was shooting people with a ballpoint pen gun), but this one was real.

I couldn't find the Saints Shield Logo I got as a gift from Chevron in 1987, the same year we went to the playoffs for the first time and I wore it through most of the Dome Patrol era while I attended every game (section 115, row 25, seats 1-4)

I watched the game. When I left outside after the first quarter and a half, the Saints scored a touchdown. When I skipped the third quarter, Bush scored. As I returned for the 4th, they lost.

Oh yea and I didn't go to church either.
