New Orleans Saints - Saints Re-Sign TE Ghent

The Saints tweaked their 53-man roster today when they re-signed tight end Ronnie Ghent. To make room on the roster for Ghent, the Black-and-Gold waived first-year defensive tackle McKinley Boykin.

5 Tight Ends! WOW!

Campbell's back must really be hurting.

Can Boykin be put on the practice squad? Nope, the article answers that:

In other news, the Saints signed DT Brandon Villareal to the practice squad, using the last of their eight allocated spots on the practice squad.

I guess Young must be fit to play. I guess we'll see when the injury report comes out tomorrow.

5 TE??? Yes, that is amazing. My guess it sounds like it's not only Campbell that is hurting. There must be another guy banged up too. Or maybe Sean Payton has a 5 TE package he wants to use in the Indy game... Seriously, I would not put anything past Payton... LOL
