0-4 ; Can it get any worse ??

How about having to hear week in and week out for the remainder of this season about the pathtic the state of affairs is in N.O.! Now every TV jock, sports reporter and sports publication that cares to look at it will whip out the ole Aint's, Who Not's and baghead crap that we've had to endure for 40 plus years! Another year of no respect, playing down and in general dis'n this frachise. We deserve it but it still hurts a little more every year and after last season it's just damn sad... But the truth hurts. You know the sad thing is that its not like we're some former great franchies that just fallen on a bad times. We've always been bad and its even gotten so bad that one year where the smoke and mirrors creates this fluke "magical season" we all of a sudden forget the 40 freaking years of history.
Ya it can get worse when in October your already hoping on being able to turn the corner because of the things that will happen in April of next year!!!

WV - Seattle got wacked today 21-0. I think they are mad...and we might do just fine as a pick them up after a bad day at the office. On a different thread I picked the Saints to upset the Seahawks next week...that was before their blood surfaced. I may have to recant.

Was so excited to go the game next week. Now not so sure. Will wear my colors proudly, but the three hour drive with Seahawks fans is going to be painful. Good thing we have beer...

I root for the team, no matter what. But I cannot understand what happened to this team. The punter is the only person playing well. Colston would be second, or he could be first, if they throw him the ball more. I love when the Saints and Hornets play at the same time of year, so I am always ready when the NBA starts. But this season I am more ready for the NBA season to start than ever.

I predict that we will (eventually) do better, probably ending up 7-9 or 8-8. Over the many, many years we have been good at being bad, but we have been even better at being mediocre. You know we are usually not good enough to make the playoffs, but not bad enough to wrap up a top 3 pick.

This loss, again, was entirely due to the offense. The defense, while not stellar, kept the team in it so the offense could at least NOT GIVE IT AWAY.

As depressing a loss this was, the more depressing thought is that this team has simply lost its knowledge of how to win. When they buried the accolades from last season, they obviously interred football sense and the will to win. Karma's a *****.
