0-4 ; Can it get any worse ??
Quite frustrating watching a S-Bowl contender last year, that just can't get it done this year. I don't know whether to throw up, or go get drunk. Perhaps I'll get drunk and then throw up after watching todays loss to Carolina.
At HOME, playing against a subpar QB, and the Saints fall short AGAIN. The bye week did nothing for a team that needed to come out and execute. Instead, this game proved that RB is NOT a 30-touch per game running back. AND, our receiving core cannot catch a cold. Way to many dropped passes !! Down on the goal line (before the FG was blocked), Marcus Colston was isolated 1 on 1 against a CB on 1st down. Take advantage of his 6'4" size and throw it to where he can go up and catch it. Instead, they run the ball and later try to isolate #25 against a much larger LB with a slant route. Not impressed with the play calling or lack thereof. Finally, our "supposed to be" much improved defense, is last in multiple Defensive statistics, and quite apparent we have taken 5 steps backwards. I know injuries are a part of the game, but there is NO excuse for being 0-4 with the talent this team has. Pretty sad how we're tied with Miami, and St.L for last in the league. 6 wins might be a stretch based on how this team is performing. Tomorrow will be another day, and I'll still support and root for the B&G to win their first game next week @ Seattle. Go saints Go. cajun blake <*)))>{ |

Re: 0-4 ; Can it get any worse ??
Can it get any worse, you ask...unfortunately it can and will. Next week they have to play Seattle. The Saints can't win at home what makes anyone think they can win on the road in Seattle?
They have an extremely talented team or at least had a talented team. Maybe the Saints should focus more on football and less on commercials and all the hype. To go from the #1 offense in the NFL last year to the most inept, bungling, fiasco they call an offense this year is embarassing to say the least. Marques Colston is a very talented player, so why they refuse to include him in big plays is beyond me. As for Reggie Bush...too much hype not enough performance. As bad as they have played this year they certainly should refund some of their enormous salaries back to the city of New Orleans. Just a thought. My prediction is that the Saints will be the most talented team to receive a #1 draft pick in the 2008 NFL Draft. Here's to good picks next year...cheers.

Re: 0-4 ; Can it get any worse ??
Sure it can get worse. 0-and-5 is already licking his chops. I've got a prediction: Saints win in Seattle next week and make everyone wonder what the hell? Will make it even harder to explain and put your finger on it. Same lethargic 3/4 effort after a two week break: dropped passes, missed blocks, bad throws, missed tackles - all equals 0-4. I'm kind of glad I didn't see it all. It gives me the fools ticket to think that the 1st 40 minutes were far better than the last 20.

I've been a Saints fan for a very long time, and unfortunately, yes, it can get worse. Today's game was practically handed to them on a silver platter and still found a way to lose it. It could be an interesting battle for worse record in the league this year...

Re: 0-4 ; Can it get any worse ??
I got it going 2-14 at best!!! I can honestly see us going 0-16 because our schedule has a lot of teams with O-lines and D-lines better than us. I don't care who you have at QB or RB its not going to matter.
