Juan Kincaid reported on the noon news that there are "up to 20" players trying out at camp today, obviously not all for kicker. He didn't name the names or positions but he did say that Vanderjagt is a long shot. Not sure what he based that on.

How bad is it that, 4 games in, they have a tryout with 20 guys? I'm glad he's trying to get better and trying to get better players but this has a lot to do with his poor decisions both in the offseason and on game days.

Man, to think, Morten Anderson signed with the Falcons at the last minute. That would have been great to have the great one come back.

Is Tom Dempsey still around? I'm sure he can still kick as good as Mare has done.

I saw Tom at the dome. He was at the Saints Hall of Fame, signed my visor. Thought that was the mo-jo we needed. ha-ha.

ok if mare gets cut that put the draft rating at a solid D, for this year.

Just heard on NFL network the Saints brought in kickers, wrs, and rbs for a little tryout. I think one rb was (sp)Haynes from the Steelers.

I got this off of NFL.com three noteable kickers Vander...,Gramatica, & Cundiff. And 3 wr that were named Travis Taylor, Taylor Jacobs, & Billy McMullen.
