Subject: Thanks For Your Prayer
Body: It will be a tough process to return from my knee injury but I will give a 110 percent to return on the field in 2009 and become the best player I can be!!!!the saints will be back on top again and thanks for your prayers and letters I will continue to check my email through these trying times to keep the fans aware of my recovery process God Bless you all. Have A merry Christmas and A Happy New Year!!!!

At least he is keeping it real by letting folks know in 09 he will be back. His knee injury is a huge blow. Before he got hurt, we all figured he would be a building block in a weak Saints secondary, now it looks like he needs to be replaced too. Even with a quick recovery, no one should expect anything from him until late in the 08 season. DAMN...

09? if thats true we will not make playoffs next year either, he is by the far the best in a terrible secondary.

On the radio this morning on my way to work, it was said that the injury to McKenzie is considered very nasty, and it's almost 100% that he will not play in 2008.

Maybe if he is able to comeback in 2009, perhaps moving to safety would be a wise career move for him.
