I difn't get to see much of the game today but lookingat the stats, 105 yds rushing and 121 yds. recieving, I think is the real deal. He is a double threat every time he is on the field . . . a combination of McAllister and Bush rolled into one.

yep. the kid has what it takes. With or without duce I feel much better about the RB position than I did before the game.

Re: Thomas is the real deal

He looked just like the same running back I saw earning a spot in pre-season! Congrats to Pierre for a special day on the field. If only Sean Payton was in the mood to have Gramatica put points on the board we might have won! We've been put out of winning situations all year by Payton. I need a drink...... oh yeah. Congrats again PT!

Re: Thomas is the real deal

Big props for Pierre Thomas.

The biggest problem with the running game this year was the lack of commitment to it. We could run with all of our backs. I think the coaching staff freaked out when Deuce went down and just abandoned the running game for the season.

I'd love to keep all of the same backs on the roster. It's going to be hard to satisfy them all, though. I'm sure they all want to start or, atleast, be the first backup somewhere. They all have that capability.
