Although most of us agree that we wish Jake the best, except when he plays against the Saints, he didn't seem to do too well against the deadskins this past weekend. In fact it appears that if the season started today he would wind up THIRD string. Pete started the game and was about average for Pete. Jake spelled Pete and was unproductive. Weinke came in to clean up and of course played against lesser talent but actually led two scoring drives. So even though Jake was paid the big bucks to walk into Carolina and "take over" it doesn't look like he is doing too well. Like I have said Jake is a excellent back up quarterback but he isn't a starter. We upgraded by letting Jake go and signing Bouman. Just wait and see!!!!
