Brian Simmons CUT !!!!
this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Well, the last I heard, we were sitting at (a projection) of about 30 mil. I haven't found anything definite on the net to refute that, just projections. But the latest I saw was from the Ask the Commish site. ...

Well, the last I heard, we were sitting at (a projection) of about 30 mil. I haven't found anything definite on the net to refute that, just projections. But the latest I saw was from the Ask the Commish site. It had us estimated, for Feb 1st, at roughly 35 mil. It may well be out of date. If someone has something more definite, please share.

I don't know what the issue with Simmons was, but he simply did not get playing time. In other words he could not beat out Shanle or Simoneau. Maybe some believe he wasn't given a fair chance, but who knows. Simmons has been in the league for a long time and maybe his play has really fell off.
