Come Tailgate With Me In Miami
 

Fellow Saints Fans,

I am setting up a tailgate in Miami. We are going to rent a conference room of a hotel. We may rent a bus to take us to the game from the hotel. We are going to rent a brass band to second line with us to the stadium.

We may have Abdul Da Tentmaker perform some songs. Abdul, if you are out there, we talked about this tonight. We cannot tailgate in the stadium parking lot. The NFL will not allow it.

Even if you don't have tickets, just come tailgate with us. If you were at the tailgate in Chicago for the NFC Championship game, you know how much fun we had.

This one will be better.

i'll definitely be there tailgating, no way i can get tickets though. i'm flying across country just to tailgate though :D think anyone will have TVs outside to watch?

Here is the deal:

We cannot tailgate outside the Super Bowl. The NFL will not allow any type of tailgating at all in the parking lot.

So, we have to rent a conference room at a hotel. We will get it set up with tvs, etc.

If you like Abdul Da Tentmaker he will be there to perform songs.

If we get enough cash, after the tailgate is done, we will rent a bus to take us within a few hundred yards or so of the stadium and "Second Line" with a brass band to the stadium.

After that, if you don't have tickets, we can get the bus to take you back to the hotel and you can either watch the game there or wherever you want.


This party will be off the charts!

The hotel will require payment 5 days before the event or they will not let us book it. If you are interested, pm me for my email address so we can pay for this event up front. $20.00 per person. If we get enough people, we will refund the difference for the tailgate. I have not been able to locate a bus yet though to take us to the game. We do have a banquet room ready to be booked for the party.

We will have saints music playing every Saints song you have ever heard of.

sounds great- where are you planning to hold this tailgate?? i live in miami and it seems like there are a bunch of super bowl events on saturday down on miami beach but sunday all of the who dat fans down here need to combine forces for a great tailgate. unfortunately the stadium is a bit out of the way from the rest of the festivities...

Tailgate is now going to be within walking distance of the stadium. This way, we won't have to rent buses or worry about transportation for everyone which is too much hassle.

We will meet the band to Second Line to the stadium a couple of hundred yards from it. They will then play several favorite Saints/New Orleans songs while we Second Line, including Stand Up & Get Crunk, When the Saints Go Marching In, Do What You Wanna, etc.

I will put the address and number to the place on this thread once we firm this up which should be today or tomorrow morning.

You don't need tickets to the game to come and you can watch it on tv where we are tailgating if you like. And if you don't have tickets, we will second line early enough so that if you want to go back home or back to your hotel to watch it, you can do that instead.

You can then post, upload photos, videos, and ask questions. The latest information will be put on there.

Wish I could be there. Or New Orleans. Either place will be amazing.

So, I guess I'm stuck in So Dak, throwing my own Super Bowl bash.
