By Les East - MIAMI - The Saints players met with the media Thursday for the last time before their Super Bowl XLIV game against Indianapolis on Sunday night. Itís left to Coach Sean Payton to hold one last news conference Friday morning, then the entire team will be sequestered until kickoff.

NewOrleans.Com navigated the interview area at the teamís downtown Miami hotel Thursday to canvass Saints players for their final pre-game message for the New Orleans fans. So here, in their own words, are what the Saints players wanted to say to you, the Saints fans, as a sort of pregame message from South Florida.

Thereís no more appropriate person to kick this off than punter Thomas Morstead, who handles New Orleansí kickoffs:

ďIíve tried to let the fans know through the media this year that when we play at the Superdome, I perform better Ė kicking, kicking off Ė because the crowdís going nuts and Iíve got the adrenaline going and that helps me kick the ball further. This week Iíve been thinking Ė I havenít kicked off away since Atlanta. I didnít kick off the last game of the season (at Carolina).

ďSo the last four games Iíve kicked off have all been home games. So Iíve actually been mentally rehearsing the ďStand up and get crunkedĒ song that they play right before kickoff because the moment that first note comes on, it gets so loud, I get an adrenaline shot in my body, and thatís when I know Iím going to do well. So Iíve been mentally trying to rehearse that song Ö we know theyíre all watching and supporting us.Ē

Running back Lynell Hamilton: ď I know a lot of fans from New Orleans are going to be here. Weíre going to have a lot more fans here than the Colts. Weíre going to be looking for the 12th man and weíre going to give it our all to thank them for this year.Ē

Wide receiver Marques Colston: ďWeíre really looking forward to all the support. I know weíre going to have a lot of heavy support down here.Ē

Defensive tackle Remi Ayodele: ďI saw what it was like last week (after the NFC Championship). That has been in my mind the whole time. Thatís what Iím thinking about right now. Iím thinking about the parade once we get back home. Ö Just being around town, there are so many Saints fans here. Itís going to be a good crowd. Itís going to be louder (for the Saints). Our fans party heartier than anybody else. Weíre going to be the loudest, for sure.Ē
